My name is Ciara Harrison.  I am an artist based in Dublin, Ireland.

My practice is focused in visual art, socially engaged art and participatory art with themes centering on gifting, hospitality, education, craft and the preservation and sharing of skills and knowledge. I endeavour to create social change through invitation and collaboration with individuals, communities and institutions with an emphasis on collective labour and cooperation.

With a particular interest in creative interventions in non-formal arts settings, I seek to foster projects where tea, biscuits, craft and other domestic processes act as prompts for collaborative curiosity, play, co-curation, exchange and reflection. My practice is concerned with topics including the interplay of trust and risk, boundaries, negotiation, isolation, ownership of work, co-production, conflict, alliance, encounter and reflection.
